Initially there was some nervousness at the beginning of the session, but once we got shooting the fun began! This is Laura, and we had so much fun with all of the props Laura had acquired for her session with her friend (and neighbour) Sharla. I travelled to her beautiful boudoir, and was loving the session because it was just a blast fooling around with different rugs, fan, outfits (check out the cool little lingerie skirt! in the middle photo!), colours and poses! Isn't she beautiful!

Beautiful Boudoir

Today, I was in one of the most beautiful boudoirs I have EVER been in. Photographing these two sessions back to back was super fun! I really enjoyed your beautifully decorated space. Even more so the company of two fabulous women. 

The bedroom was  black, shades of black, white and a hint of pink...so thank you Laura for allowing me into your space, and I really enjoyed the shoot. Today, I had a double session with Laura, and also with her friend (and neighbour) Sharla. We had a blast!

If you think this room is gorgeous, wait until you see how fabulous these two women are! I had so much fun today with you both. Stay tuned!

This makes me happy!

I feel most happy when I can make other people feel happy. I don't know if that is because I am a Mom, or because I grew up learning to please others? Anyways, as you all know I had two great sessions last Saturday and I feel so happy when I see posts about how happy a boudoir session has made a friend or a client. 

It makes my heart sing to see how much Sarah enjoyed the whole experience of boudoir photography.  To see what I am talking about, click here.

I have never ever had so much fun doing a photo shoot as I did with Cathy! I never liked getting my picture taken or really loved any pictures of myself. I was so nervous to do the shoot, but once I got there and met Cathy she made it so easy and comfortable to step out of my comfort zone and do it! And I've never felt so confident and good about myself from just getting my pictures taken!

Cathy has the perfect personality and eye for boudoir photography. I loved every minute of it and love the pictures even more! Thank you so much for the beautiful pictures Cathy!!

Sam and her sister Sarah came in for boudoir sessions this afternoon and wow did we have a super afternoon together. Here are a couple of sneek peaks from her session. Sam LOVES her shoes and now I really want to go out and buy some shoes for myself! Sam! You are so sexy and so ful of glam! You rocked my boudoir with your fierce looks! And we had some great fun too!

Cathy's Tickle Trunk (thanks Sam for the great name!)

Something fun has been happening, it seems with almost every boudoir session I have completed so far the client/s  will leave me a little something, something for my next boudoir clients to use. I have decided to create a tickle trunk for my next clients to use. So thank you all for your kind and thoughtful gifts! 

I now have a really cool fedora hat (really popular in my last few shoots), two pairs of short lace gloves in black and white. A couple of colourful large lolly pops. I think this has been really fun, and I wonder what will enter my tickle trunk next?! It will be neat to see what gets added over time. So, if you have a session booked and you are not sure what you want to do in your session I am sure the trunk will give you some great inspiration.

I had two sessions today, and I really hope I can give you all a sneak peek soon. I just wanted to let you all know I would NEVER post an image on my blog site without permission from my subject!

high heels

There is a part of me that wants to wear high heels, but being a mom to six young kids I cannot justify the need to buy or wear beautiful heels. When I was single, a career woman, I would dress up every day, and a good part of my wardrobe would consist of heels. But now, I am known to wear flip flops, or runner depending on what activity I am up to for the day. But, if I go to the local 'Winners' and I see high heels sitting on the rack in my size and I try them on, and I walk up and down the isle very carefully and then I put them back on the shelf. But the more I see sexy heels the more I am inclined to spend a few bucks to buy a pair. Maybe I won't really get the chance to wear them out, but I know when I put them on I just feel a lot better about myself. I walk taller, I smile more. I feel good about myself.

 That is what boudoir photography can do for you. 

Make you walk taller, smile more and feel good about yourself.

Boudoir Photography - QnA

Boudoir photography has become very popular again, but this time it is back is a much better way (think back to glamour shots *shudder*). Boudoir sessions are simply sexy, tasteful photo shoots that give you an opportunity to wear your fabulous lingerie (or whatever you choose!)

I wanted to answer some questions about my boudoir sessions!

Q: What if I am not a perfect size and my body is not perfect right now?

A: That is not a problem! My job as a photographer is to help you find the best parts of you. I will emphasize your great, and minimize the not so great...and feel free to let me know what parts you are not keen on having photographed. Being sexy and confident just the way you are, is truly more sexy anyways! That will shine through in your photos!

Q: Where do you shoot these boudoir sessions?

A: If you are in the Fraser Valley of BC we can shoot a local hotel or, there is also my boudoir. It has been rather popular these days! Or, I can travel to you. Contact me for more details.

Q: What should I wear?

A: Bring a wide variety of outfits you love and feel darn sexy in! Bring as many as you wish to try, and we can go from there. Be sure to bring a great pear of heels! I always suggest a great black push up bra, black panties and perhaps a teddy. I always say bring too much than too little! Oh, and a robe if you feel more comfortable between sets.

Q: Do you shoot nude? Nope I wear clothing LOL.

A: Do you have to shoot nude? Of course not, I really shoot 'implied nude.' Wearing your lingerie is just fine! I will consult with you to go over what you really want to get out of your session with me.

Q: Will you post photos of me up on your blog?

A: Only with your permission would I post a photo on my blog.

Beautiful A+

A beautiful bride to be, a smile as bright as the diamond placed on her finger by her future husband! She was so fun, bubbly and outgoing and I just know her husband is a very lucky man. Congratulations on your engagement!
