Almost Dressed!

So, how was your holidays? Life at our place has pretty much gone back to normal. We just have the tree to come down, and the front wreath (and of course those festive Christmas lights!!) We are looking forward to the new year!

Boxing Day!

I don't know about you, but I always look forward to Boxing Day. It is a day to kind of 'wrap up' Christmas, put away the festivities and begin to plan for the new year. I always love the idea of being able to wipe the slate clean and start fresh! This year I cannot pack up everything as we have family coming over on Sunday for our annual gift exchange/appy afternoon. But, as soon as it is done the tree is out of here (ooooh it was a lovely one this year too!) and the decorating scheme goes back to plain and simple. Let the year unfold with all of its goodness! I cannot wait to see what the new year will hold for us all. It has to be a  good one! It just has to.

Anyways, I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas! I look forward to the new year!

Sneak Peek - My New Website

Wrapping up!

All of my sessions are complete and delivered for 2008! I am really looking forward to 2009! I have my first marathon session coming up at the end of January, and then another one to take place in April 2009. 

Also, my new website shall be ready for January 2009 (if not before!) so check back next week. I have packages that you will love! I am so excited to unveil woo hoo!

Weekend

Well, it is late Saturday night. I just finished up a clients file, and it is all ready for pick up. I am pretty much done my sessions for 2008. I am looking forward to an exciting 2009! I cannot wait to get going again. I bought my self a new lens on Friday, I am hoping to have my site up and running. February my special project gets revealed. Life is good.

Today we put up our tree, we decorated a bit. It is snowing, and the lights look beautiful. Pretty much a winter wonderland out there.

My Spring Fling aka Marathon Sessions

Looking for a bit of fun this Spring?! 

Once a month starting in the beautiful month of April, I will be adding boudoir marathon sessions. So not only will there be individual sessions like I offer currently, plus these fun sessions too.

I am so happy that so many of you wonderful, gorgeous women have booked my sessions solid until the end of March of 2009! THANK YOU ALL! I cannot wait to photograph your sessions.

What is a marathon session you ask?

Well, they are individual private boudoir sessions that take place in a hotel, or B&B that would have at least five women scheduled in on one day--one session after another. Your make up and or hair done on site first, and then every hour you, me and my camera. Sessions will include beverages, and some sweet snacks and treats. We are talking 'Star Quality' treatment! I want you to feel like a superstar for your session! You deserve to feel sexy and glamourous!

The poll is for me to get an idea of which weekend will work the best. I would even suggest getting a group together with your friends, or stagette for this type of session. They are going to be a blast! And at the end of the session, a gallery of awesome, sexy photos for you! You can then choose items from my a la carte menu. I am curently working on Pricing and the fine details. I will have a little black book with gorgeous photos of you inside, enlargements and some other fun items.

I am going to offer these sessions once a month, and of course if this is something you are not interested I will have several dates in the month open for an individual sessions. Contact me to book those! I will have limited space available, as I have mentioned before I am booking into April 2009.

Details will be available in the new year on my new website! And on my blog,  So look for that!

I think I have found THE BEST location for these marathon sessions!! I cannot wait to finalize the details. I am so excited!

All I want for Christmas...

What a great session I had today. I always look forward to my sessions because I get to meet the most wonderful women! Today the session was a Christmas gift for a boyfriend. Well let me tell you he is ONE LUCKY man! We had fun with a bit of a Christmas theme going on. We used a red and white candy cane, and we used red lipstick! BUT, I am sorry I cannot show you more! We cannot spoil a wonderful Christmas gift for this man. When she asked him what he wanted for Christmas he said 'you!'  How sweet is he! 

He is going to LOVE his gift for sure! It was a pleasure meeting you today K. I cannot wait to hear how the present went over :D

Finally FRIDAY!

One more session is almost ready for client pick up, and another session this weekend. Then, I will work on those files and I have a few week break over the Christmas and New Years! Then, I am right back at it the first weekend of 2009! I am so thankful for all of this beautiful business I have received. Wow. I am so glad that boudoir is back, and that it can be something beautiful, sexy and gorgeous. Instead of that cheese of the 80's and 90's. Yes! 

I have the best job!

Another crazy week is almost over, and now I am feeling the rush of the holiday season. Last night I met with my fave four photog friends (say that five times!!) It is always great to connect with friends who are in the same business. I love the support they bring to the table. I cannot thank my gals enough. Love you all! Seriously!! What would I do without you all! Kisses!

It has been quiet on the blog site front, but I have been working much too late into the night lately.(Can you say twitchy eye and falling asleep upright on the sofa one to many times!!!) I have been planning, editing, building my site (so exciting!!!), my packages, my pricing. I have also been dreaming again! I love to think ahead to what could be next! I have been working on some ideas, and cannot wait to work everything out so that I can bring the best boudoir packages to you all. 2009! BRING IT ON!!

I know I have talked about doing boudoir marathon sessions in the past. Well, I have been working a bit more on this, and I hope to have my first official boudoir session (in a fabulous penthouse hotel suite) in April 2009. I am looking at the first weekend of April. The dates I am looking at are April 4th and/or 5th depending on interest!

Hot Pink Heels

I have talked about high heels before on my blog. Maybe you remember this post. Well, that was back in September, and today is December 1st. About a month and a half ago I went to the local Payless and while I was picking out shoes for my girls...I spied a pair of black patent heels for 22 dollars on clearance. So, I bought them. I consider them my 'practice' heels. I wore them to Madonna, I wore them to the bowling alley ( I wore bowling shoes to bowl!!), I have worn them out for coffee, out for dinner. And I am finding it is getting easier to get around in them. I can actually walk up and down the stairs pretty well now. And, I like what the heels can do for the look of my legs, and my posture. So, I think I see myself buying some shoes like these above. Wow! Killer heels! And my client ROCKED her heels! Oh yes she did! 

And yes, on my sisters Wedding at the end of January 2009 I am going to rock my WHOLE ensemble! LOL.
